I see another post of sharks and reminded me.

This is friggin cool - these sharks are harmless to man but it's hte perspective of the photographer..

They are harmless plankton eaters, and very, very slow. The diver would have no trouble getting out of the way. In fact, i am sure he put himself there and was probably faster than the shark.
Here's a video of one too slow nd stupid to get out of the way of a huge ship.

They have had an increasing presence in the northern Gulf of Mexico during the last decade or so. Several friends have reported seeing them while fishing offshore. I'd love to get to see one in person.
