I sent off my Axis bolt to have them install a new bolt knob and coat bolt body with Cerakote microslick. I could not be happier with the results. I've had my TRG 42 bolt coated with microslick and I really like this coating for bolts. I've never owned a Savage action that was this smooth and I would highly recommend Phoenix Custom to perform the work.

I wanted to give Phoenix Customs a big shout out for great pricing, but for fast turn around. I shipped my bolt on 02/11/13 and it arrived 02/20/13 even with Monday being a holiday. Well worth the money.

Stopped by Brad and Keith's shop 2 days ago when my bolt release would no longer allow me to remove the bolt on my Rem 700 for cleaning. Brad showed me how to remove the stock and what the issue was. Fixed in less that 10 min and out the door to the range at NO CHARGE even though I offered to pay several times. Great guys that do quality work. Shop very nice and clean. I'll definitely be using them again for future projects. Thanks guys !
