i'm interested to know if anyone has had any time with the custom stainless long action with fluted, oversized bolt handle? i'm seeing these quiet abit lately but can't get a straight answer about them. Any good?

I just left their shop minutes ago. Great people too. I will continue to deal with them as my primary go to action.

How would they compare to a stiller predator or tac-30 action? I sure like the stiller actions, but always willing to try something new!! Lee

I used one of their recievers for a 308 build and it worked perfectly , I used a PT&G bolt with the PT&G handel , all welded on and timed by Nathen Dagley.
They have upped their prices a little bit but still worth the quality.
I think its kinda shitty that their gonna charge $35 to cut out the opening to make it a repeater.

Far better than stiller. Cocking and extraction differences that mean a huge difference in feel. I used just the tube for the first few I built and a PTG bolt, but you dont get the same special angles and extraction that you get when you buy complete with one of his one piece bolts.

I just had my hands on one of these last Friday and they are nice. I will say I wasn't impressed with some of the machining marks on the PTG Bolt, the Phoenix bolt was extremely nice and I'd pay the difference for it.
