Gunsmithing Phosphating

I have great need of barrel plugs for parking barrels. I have to be able to do a number of them and am sick of fighting with wooden dowel rods, I used to have some rubber ones that worked a treat but they have all wandered off here or there and I no longer have any. Sources anyone?
