Hey hide, looking for some advice on mounting a picatinny bipod rail on a McMillan A5. The stock came with a flush cup underneath where I’d like to mount a picatinny bipod rail. Looks like my options are:

1. Mount the rail over the flush cup (and really hope it’s true to its name) and reuse the sling swivel as the front mounting point for the rail

OR

2. Mount rail closer to the end of the stock and drill/epoxy in 2 new Tee nuts.

Thanks in advance!
