The "dovetail" cutting tool for making the final shaping cut(s) in 1913-adapters to go on a rail.

Anyone know where and if one can buy these, or do I have to have one made based on available spec?

Sorry, my search-fu is inadequate and nothing seems listed with Brownells.

Re: Picatinny milling cutter tool

this is the cutter i use for making rails: link. i like this one because i can cut the top and bottom bevels in one setup. i don't have the rail spec in front of me but i think this could also work for making adapters. you may need to step down to the 3/4" diameter one though.

The specs for the rail are on wikipedia. 300sniper's cutter is very similar if not identical to the one that my dad's used with no issues to cut Prails for various projects as well.
