Really considering the Vortex viper pst 6-24x50 ffp. Looking at seekins rails and scope rings. Confused on what rail to get. Seems like most popular is the 20 moa. Don't know enough about the differences and want to make the right choice. Been looking at scopes for a few months also and seems like the vortex is a good buy. Alot of options out there. Trying to set up my rem 700 sendero the right way the first time without going overboard. If that makes sense.

Or here is another way to look at it. Get a 0moa base, buy a nice once piece mount with the cant built into it (20moa or whatever you wanted). Then you can take that optic off in 2 seconds and throw it on another gun that may have a built in rail like an AR and now you still have the same built in elevation and if marked can make a zero adjustment pretty quickly as well. If I didn't already have 20moa rails on all my stuff I would probably change and go that route. If you have a an optic that does not have a zero stop you can do some math and basically use the base as a zero stop as well.
