First off Im honored to be able to join this great forum and have learned tons since I found this site back in 2009, and would just like to say thanks for having such a wealth of knowledge in one place.
Now to my newb post. My plan is for a short handy precision rifle. Im limited to 300yrds localy which is the farthist I have shot and the closet range that goes farther is 2+ hours away. Im starting with a 1992 700pss that is in very rough shape. As this is my first custom build Please critique my specs and post what you think.

badger thruster brake untill I can aquire a thunderbeast 30p-1
manners T6A DBM or T3 DBM already have 2 T4A's so the t6 looks nice
seekins 20MOA base and rings
Premier light tactical 3-15x50
as for caliber im going 6.5x47mm lapua. Im thinking with the 16.5" bbl I should get 2700+ out of 123 amax's. Also I already have my home built savage chambered for it and reload for it.
