Hi I am planning to start producing the separate rings that I have showed in the thread about the Ideal scopemount.
http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=1352653&page=1

The Rings will look something like this.

That ring height is .83" and that gives a .16"clearance to the tube.
That height will of course not work for everybody.
So I am kindly asking you for help.

What would be your optimum height, not what you have today, but what you would like to have.

I am so far planning the .83" 1" and 1,2" for 34mm
For 30mm I am planning .75 and 1"
Would that fit mostly , or shoudld I go for other heights?

Probably should start with a picture of a ring that will allow the scope to clear the base.

Just sayin.....

In general most scopes require at least .25" from the bottom of the main tube to the top of the pic rail. Add variations in increments of .1" or 1.5".

Cheers,
