By "nipple" im assuming you mean the buffer retainer? Is it knocking the tip off the buffer retainer or is it just popping out?

Re: trouble with a grendel upper!!

I figured the problem out, the buffer tube wasnt screwed in all the way. Its suppose to screw in far enough to hold the retainer down. Another rookie error!!! Well gotta learn somehow hehehe!

Re: trouble with a grendel upper!!

The way the stock tube is used to hold the buffer retaining pin is bad design. Can you remove the stock and spring from the back. I learned the hard way when I installed a Magpul PRS. Not much fun
