I don't speak russian or polish so I can't back up the captions. Probably edited, but I think worth a look. Also the person who allegedly filmed this video has been reported dead by stabbing. These reports are not in the mainstream media so there are no reputable sources yet (if you consider mainstream media reputable).

Not placing this here as fact. Just another interesting view. At the very least this will prolly piss off the Poles.

Re: Polish Plane crash video: Conspiracy?

Easily disputed with weather being what it was that day.

Video/Audio can be manipulated so many ways or simply taken out of context intentionally or just by having the footage at all.

If it wasn't an accident, it was accomplished well enough.

If it was an accident, all in one plane.. bad decision.

Re: Polish Plane crash video: Conspiracy?

when i first heard about it, my first thought was cant a stinger be used unarmed as a kinetic projectile? and didnt the pole just sign some treaty that russia wasnt very happy with? and isnt that the reason the heads of our state are never on a plane together? and no one will believe me, i sound like mel gibson in conspiracy theory, lol

A stinger only has 2.5 lbs of warhead. Why bother using it unarmed?

And I think the easy answer to your question is "probably not." The Stinger is one-time use and I don't think it could be safely or easily disassembled.

The Ruskies have their own version of the Stinger that is probably quite different than ours. I can't speak for them since I served here.

Re: Polish Plane crash video: Conspiracy?

even at the weight you mentioned, at the speed it travels, wouldnt it be able to bring a plane down? like i said, im only going by what i recall from seeing it on tv on a discovery or such program. it may have just been bad luck, but thats also why they have that old saying about putting all of your eggs in one basket

Are you asking me?

Of course a Stinger could bring a passenger plane down. That's what they're made to do.
