I may not be the brightest bulb in the knife drawer, but I'm pretty sure a molotov cocktail is a lethal device. Why aren't the cops opening fire on those throwing them lethal devices at them?

Actually they arrested 50 that night. Word is they are using their new Federal deputization to nab them on NFA violations for un-papered destructive devices.
If i remember right molotov cocktails are nfa regulated destructive devices and need a tax stamp or am i wrong.
In another thread I said the ATF only gets 20 or so NFA violations convictions a year. Looks like this year will e a banner year for them!

Since the asshole local DA doesn't prosecute, deputizing local cops lands the offenders in federal court.
I'm all for it. We have a federal government for a few legitimate reasons and enforcing law and order when locals can't or won't is one of them.
