Possible Case Head Separation?

I think I already know the obvious answer to this, but is this a dead giveaway for case head separation?

I can't see through it or anything like a crack, but it's like a scratch on the brass. Not all the way around either, but intermittent around the radius

I would recommend cutting the case so you can take a close look at the web.

I think that's probabaly the next step. I'll take a whack at it with a Dremel and update with what I find

Pay no mind to my God awful Dremel skills..

So you can definitely see where it has taken its toll on the web and thinning a bit, but not horribly in my opinion. The line in question originally around the base, is well below the thinning portion and still quite thick it looks.

What do you think? Get a couple more loadings out of them? I'm thinking the line/scratch has formed from the fl die over time maybe

How many loads and powder did it take to do that?

Those cases are going on about 15 or 16 loads now. I fl resize each time though, bumping the shoulders .001. I don't run them super hot though, maybe higher mid range loads. 43 gr/h4350 130 TMK is my latest go to

Well in that case is probably a good time to consider new brass lol. That's pretty good case life

Oh yeah, I'm definitely pleased with what I've gotten out of them. I did just get a new set of identical brass, but if I can get a couple more loads out of them, why not

All my Hornady 6.5 brass does that, I pitch’em in the trash
