Possible here we go again on the brass issue

Re: Possible here we go again on the brass issue

It surprises you that our government is looking for new ways to screw us?

Re: Possible here we go again on the brass issue

It is far easier for them to restrict the flow of cartridge cases than it is to go through the problems involved in firearms legislation.

Got to Blame ATK/Alliant for this one fellas. They are trying to capture a part of the market. This let them set the price even higher on their own brass and ammo.

Re: Possible here we go again on the brass issue

This is just another problem of having all of our eggs in one basket, so to speak. With just a few big conglomerate companies owning virtually everything from "scoop to nuts", this is what we end up with. Dog eat dog. And the little dog (us) is getting eaten. ATK owns from top to bottom in the reloading industry and have the power and $ to do as they please. Add a government that is all too anxious to stop us from arming ourselves and we are hamstrung. Just y'day Cerebus (Freedom Group) who just purchased Barnes Bullets, by the way, closed down the Marlin Mfg. facility. The product will probably be made elsewhere, but the fact remains, we're living in the age of a world full of "Wal-Marts", like it or not. That in and of itself is control of the minions.
