Hi All -
I've got a .308 Redding type S FL die with neck bushings. I just finished building a semi-auto rifle in 7mm-08. I was looking at having a custom die made by Forster for the 7mm-08. Or maybe do what frogman77 did and just have the neck of a standard die honed out to his specified diameter. This got me thinking, why couldn't I use the .308 Redding Type S FL die with a .316 (or so) neck bushing? THe .308 is the parent case of the 7mm-08, they both have the same shoulder angle but the shoulder length on the 7mm-08 is a little longer.
I'm looking for the best FL resizing solution I can find. I have the chamber reamer and prints. Seems like I should be able to get a die made or honed to the right specs. Any thoughts or experiences are appreciated.
