I tried to search on what powder to use but i just couldn’t find what i am looking for so I’m asking for some help. I am wanting to start reloading and don’t have the money to try 3-4 different powders to get the best. I wanted to take yalls collective data to make my load. For that I’m shooting a .308 168gr or 175gr berger VLD out of a Rem 700 26" heavy-countor barrel with a 1/12" twist ratio. What powder would you use and your different grain for that formula? I hope somebody can help me. Thank you

I looked at that link and im going to try loads from 42gr-46gr, that seams to be the norm in both 168 and 175 gr bullets in all lengths of barrels. What is the diffrence in the primers? What do yall use?

Try Re15 and Varget to start. Go to Alliant and Hodgdon website for load data. Every rifle has it's sweet spot so load low and work up from there. It is best to chrono your load, Remember, fast doesn't equal accurate.... and seating depth can also make a big difference. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Originally Posted By: adm09_003</div><div class="ubbcode-body">I tried to search on what powder to use but i just couldn’t find what i am looking for so I’m asking for some help.
