Powder River Precision 10/22 receiver

Has anyone used one of the Powder River Precision 10/22 receivers for a build? I saw Don on RimfireSS YouTube channel did a build with one using a Lilja 10/22 match barrel. It shot lights out. I shoot 22lr bench rest with a Hole Shot 2500X in unlimited and a CZ457MTR in factory division. We also have a semiautomatic division and I would like to build a 10/22 for competition. And all they would say is Kidd , Kidd ?
I saw the video on rimfire SS as well and was wondering about using this receiver set , Kidd does not offer what I want , cpc closed , that leaves Joe Chaconne and I don’t know who else ,,,,,,,,,and diy

Yes, that was me. In my opinion Kidds’ are good but can be hit or miss. It will definitely be a DYI build. Will post here what I find out. Joe

Still waiting on the Lilja bull barrel. They are on back order. Should have it late summer/ early fall. I hate waiting. Joe

This is just me, but if I was spending good $ on a 10/22 in 2025, I would not touch any receiver that did not have a rear tang bolt option.

It's not that I haven't built and seen 10/22s without a rear tang screw shoot really well, but in my brain, being able to secure the acton in two places like we do with pretty much every centerfire precision rifle, can't be a bad thing.

How about a CMMG pattern AR-22 barrel @ ~24" with a ~1.00 to 0.97" diameter using your blanks?

I actually have one already designed and a bore buddy receiver on my bench for that!

This is a .937 barrel 24” long, it fits under the barrel nut on the receiver.
