Is it faster to use a good digital scale or a beam scale? I was thinking of buying a fx-120i.

Go with the FX that way you can add an automated dropper later. Beam scales are a pain you put powder and it starts oscillating so you have to dampen with a finger or wait for it to settle than you are guessing how much powder you are off then you bump the thing and it;s off again.

I have an fx-120i and I'm delighted with it. Had it for ~ 6 years. Would never go back to a beam scale.

I don’t load and shoot near as much as I used to and really can’t justify the whole trickler system, it would just be the scale

Or you may want to look into this scale for a little less money. Gets good reviews. I bought one as a backup to my fx-120 and it compares well (a bit slower). It will also interface with the Ingenuity Trickler shuold you find the need. Seems they go on sale once in a while. Just a thought.
