Moving this here after recommendations. I work in computers and do a lot of programming. I noticed the advice most often given for finding powder online is to regularly check various web sites throughout the day. I am considering writing a binary for windows or linux or Mac computers that you can run. It will then watch for the product you ask me to program into it and when it sees the product in stock will purchase 1 and only one. It will then notify you of the purchase and stop running. I of course would have to program it in a way to prevent it from being passed around. Before I invest my time into this I am curious what the interest is if this was say $30 for one product or $50 for two different products. It could be used as often as you want but not be able to be used by your friends. Thanks in advance for any input in this. I have not wrote this yet but if the interest is enough I could write and develop it fairly quickly.

I can definitely see where this would be handy with 8 pound jugs of powder versus sitting on the computer hoping you luck out finding it and get it bought before it's sold out. The other day I added powder to my cart and it was sold out before I got checked out.

I think the issue would be if the product came in at 5 or 6 places at once, you could find yourself a little over drawn.
The first version would only check one site. In the end if I did multiple sites it would check one at a time and once one purchase was made it would stop for that product.

It should be fairly easy to use cypress.io, since it basically runs a browser with custom coding. It's designed as a full web testing tool, but obviously, that would include 'testing' checkout/paying. :)
