Alliant only lists 223 loads for light bullets with 1200R. They said it is similar burn rate to RL 10X. Anybody tried this with 69/70gr bullets and have a starting load?
I love the 2000MR for heavier cals, and want to see if it's brother works in the 223.

Alliant's load data for 1200r tops out at 55gr. Why not load those bullets with 2000MR since it is designed to shoot heavy for caliber bullets. Alliant even has load data listed for the 69gr class of bullets. Personally, I have had good success with 2000mr and 77 hpbt.

Trying to save the 2000MR for other rifles. When I saw "For 223" listed on the 1200R bottle in the store I jumped on it, and later saw on their web site that it was specifically for lighter bullets; wish the load info was on the bottle like the Hodgdon powders.

For the $ (less powder used) and the temp insensitivity AR-COMP burns closer to Varget
