Not for me or anyone that i know, but there are two firemen that left port canaveral friday to go offshore fishing and havent been heard from since. Asking for prayers for them, their families and those looking that they are found safe.
Navy, coast guard, jfrd and countless others are searching

Still searching, the wife verified that his tackle bag was found about 50miles offshore of jacksonville. They sent crews to the area. Thats it so far. Reports say there are searching up off the coast of south carolina also. And probably a few searching off the coast of Georgia well.

Coast guard calling off the search at dark this evening. Been searchin for 6days, all kinds of volunteer boats , aircraft, multiple armed services. Searched all the way up the coast to north carolina. No signs of anything other than the one tackle bag of the coast if florida a couple of days ago. Surely some private folks will still keep looking for a bit i guess.

Yeah. Damn. I sure hate it for their families and them. There has been an overwhelming bunch of support for the search, the jacksonville fire department website had a place set up to donate $ for gas and things for the volunteer boats searching. There were a bunch that wouldnt take it. Had folks drag their boats down from south carolina and go out everyday footing their own bill for fuel and hotel and food. This after running 50-60 miles offshore all day searching
As bad as it is for the guys missing and their families , it sure does make one have hope for the world when so many come together at their own expense to look for a couple of guys they have never met that are missing at sea
