I just bought a late 30s Winchester 70 30-06 and am in need of a rear sight leaf spring. I have tried a spring off an old 10-22 but it is a little too straight or stiff. I have looked at Numrich, Midway and Brownells. Brownells is the only site that I found the leafs for sale but as expected they are all for other models of guns. Anybody have any experience on this? If I can find no other alternative I can probably tweak the 10-22 piece to fit.
