Fisher T&C did a barrel for me last year and it hammered. Ended up selling the rifle but planning on using him again in the future.

I had an issue with my barrel that was caused by me and Fisher was amazing and went out of his way to help me resolve MY issue. Want to reinstate the fact that it was my problem not and issue with his work.

Sent Fisher T&C my take off Axiom barrel (Bartlein) and had him re-spin it up for my Kelbly Prometheus. The barrel was rechambered as well and rethreaded up front. Got the barrel back in a very reasonable time. The barrel headspaced perfectly without even having my action.
Below are two consecutive groups within the first 20 rounds after a hasty zero. Yes I know it’s not a 5x5. Ammo used was Hornady Black 140gr. Fisher T&C is definitely good to go.

The cone is really just a tapered recess. You could get away with a flat breech as long as you cut the tenon short enough for bolt clearance.

Usually I do not turn down the shank for a Tikka, I'll put a heavy chamfer at the shoulder so there's no protruding edge. I've done it a few times at a customer's request if the profile is light enough to make it work. Tac A1s need it to fit through the Handguard Assembly Bracket. I run an NBRSA taper on mine in a wide open chassis without issue.

Ordered a Kreiger barrel from Fisher T&C. Had an initial issue at the beginning and they corrected the issue with no problems. Finally took it out to the range yesterday and qualified at Talladega CMP using FMJ Aguila out to 600 yards. Great guys!!
Kreiger barrel was for a AI AXSA .308Win 30 inch barrel.

Does great work don't hesitate using him. Great communication and he's pretty fast at getting barrels out. I've had issues with a few prefits in past and his came perfect and the multiple barrels same cals were pretty much dead on between the two.

I had a 30 inch rock Creek 1000 yard profile 6.5 barrel chambered and finished, and they did a flawless job.
