I've been loading Varget for 308 in a progressive press for a while and has been working fine I'm my measure. Well I'm out of Varget and all I can get a hold of is IMR 4064. How do I set up my press to accept a powder funnel in my charging station so that I may use a scale and dump it in? It's there a way to add a drop tube to it too?

Lee rifle charging dies should work...they run about $15. Lyman, RCBS and I'm sure others carry powder charge dies (the non-expanding type). Not sure about a drop tube, but I'd imagine you could get one to work with little or no modification. Look at Midway USA...I know they have a Lyman and Lee powder die. I'm not sure if you can use one manufacturer's die and another's powder funnel (i.e. if you get the Lee die, not sure if an RCBS powder funnel will work in it). Might be worth it to pick one up for whatever die you end up going with.

IMR 4064 is an amazing powder...it's my main powder for 308. Best of luck.

Which progressive?

Dillon makes a funnel that fits the powder drop die. It is supposedly for the AT500 press.

But call Dillon and they will hook you up.
