WHAT TO EXPECT: 9am range briefing/gear discussion. Students will shoot (1) shot @ 25 yards, then spend approximately 3 hours at the 100 yard range. Students will solidify the fundamentals, while getting to know their scope, including all possible adjustments. Topics covered are diaopter, parallax, ranging with a reticle, moa/mil math, live fire scope tracking tests, FFP/SFP optics and more...We collect labradar chronograph data from each shooter during this time, to develop a computerized printed drop chart specifically predicted for EACH shooter. We encourage students to take notes, with the supplied dope book and handout sheets, throughout the class, however, each class is filmed in its entirety, giving the students a video diary of the fundamentals, target groups, exercises ect.. Mid-day...Students will be treated to lunch, on our famous wood fired grill, and as always beverages are supplied all day. The afternoon's activities will see the student put our teachings into practice @ 200/300/400/500/750 yard shooting stages, utilizing multiple shooting positions, time constraints, while confirming drop data and solidifying the fundamentals. The training course ends with a group photo, 750 yard target photo and a quick range debriefing, with certificates issued. Some notable gear we have: Our custom designed wi-fi target camera system measures your target impacts to the 1/10 inch, giving instant, accurate feedback every shot. Color coded shot strings at each yardage, for each shooters bullseye help students with shot grouping data. New this season, is our weather station, relaying accurate wind speed and direction to our wi-fi computer system, helping students dial accurately for conditions. Our long range class is P.O.S.T. approved for LAW ENFORCEMENT, offering (8) post credits. We can also schedule a custom date that works for your group. Multiple instructors, small group sizes, great data for each student, value for your training dollar. and...just when you think you have all this figured out, we offer a "advanced" long range course...you will need to shoot 75% + each stage and measure targets within 5% accuracy to get a passing certificate.
