I have the PH 5-25, and per the info that was sent with the scope to zero out the turrets all you have to do is pop the zipper up and flip it over then dial to zero, you still hear clicks but supposedly its suppose to not move the zero for the rifle. I cant get mine to do this, everytime ive tried and go shoot again my POI is different. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks

Re: Premier Heritage 5-25 ?

alright thanks buddy, so all you are doing is flipping the zipper up letting it rotate over on to the top of the zipper and then dialing back to "0" ? Thanks for the quick response

Re: Premier Heritage 5-25 ?

While at the range, zero, then pop the top, count the clicks, and fire tos ee if the "not holding POI" is a function of the reticle moving when it shouldn't or "something else."

With what you've said, it could be a few things, but if it moves by exactly the value of clicks you put in, I'd say the turret needs some attention by Premier.

Re: Premier Heritage 5-25 ?

Yep, that's all. The other day I zeroed my scope at 200, moved it one more click, did what you're describing to zero it on "0"....and then dialed up like 11.8 mil or something at shot at 1300 yards. I would have noticed being a couple mil off for sure.

Re: Premier Heritage 5-25 ?

When zeroing mine I pop the top and back the flippers off a few turns then rotate the knob to zero then screw them back in and adjust the tension.

By backing off the flippers it makes sure nothing inside moves while turning the knob.

Re: Premier Heritage 5-25 ?

What I do is flip the flipper, then loosen it a little, then zero the knob, then turn the flipper lever until it is tight again and flip it and lock in place. Once I did this, there was no POI change when I zeroed the knobs.
