    Re: New PH Video

Excellant. Very good production value, clear and well presented. These types of videos should be standard fare on all the scope/rifle manufacturers website IMHO.

I notice that there's no getting away from the ubiquitous Metallica soundtrack to anything gun related...

LOL! Yeah, we were close to laying the down the Hip Hop or Barry Manilow track and thought, "Nah, better safe than sorry..." : )

    Re: New PH Video

Looks good Mike. I'm curious why you would prefer hex vs. the lever lock...

The way I see it the hex will add constant pressure aiding in the tracking of the scope. I have seen scopes with the turret levers not tight enough and do to this the reticle will not adjust all the time making it look like the scope is having tracking issues.

    Premier Haritage's Parallax Indicators

One of the criticisms we had of the Premier 5-25 was that there was no indicators on the Parallax. Well, at SHOT Show Premier announced that they will have indicators on the parallax of all future scopes (except the new 1-8x which has no parallax). See pic in the 1st post above.

Is there gonna be a retrofit available for existing 5-25's?

    Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

    Heavy Haulin,

Yes there is. I was hoping to be able to stock the kits and service scopes for people (we've converted a lot of 5-25's with the newer positive click turrets for people), but after talking to Mike (who talked to Chris the owner of PR), it's going to be a more complex process that will require you to send it into Premier for the conversion.

    Thanks,

    Mason @ CST

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

Paul form PR told me at Shot that he didn't like to break into a perfectly good scope just to RR the paralex knob, and there would be a cost for the retrofit, I beleave God created fine tip paint makers for a reason, my new gun should be ready next week, I plan on marking my PR 5-25 in that way, you could use masking tape or some other kind of tape and mark in it instead of the scope.

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

    Mason,

Ehat rings are you using? Looks like Badger? What height are they? Is that a .40 moa rail?
I am thinking about using the NEW Badger 34mm MAX-50 rings when they come out, should work ja? They are 1" high. I have heavy contour barrel.

    Cheers,

    Master Diver

They are the 34mm USMC Badger rings with, 1" center height, on a 30 MOA base.

Yes. Mike uses the 34mm aluminum rings that are 1" center height and he likes them.

    Thanks,

    Mason @ CST

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

Yes, I understand, those rings should work. In fact, Mike corrected me a little, the rings in the video above were the Max 50-Aluminum rings and they worked fine. Those rings are the same spec, they're just aluminum instead of steel.

    Thanks,

    Mason

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

    Manson,

    Thanks for confirming that.
They look like the way to go IMHO.
    I like and trust steel.

    Cheers,

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

I ordered a 5-25 ARD a few weeks ago and still have not recieved a response, is this available or not?

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

    RQI
I’m sorry for the delay in getting you the USO Sunshade. I was out of the office at RO from 4/10 to 4/19. I did not see your post on the Hide until yesterday. For the future it would be best to send us a PM. I did get an email from you on 4/20 and I replied to it on 4/21/10 also on our website. Under your order history I posted a USPS shipping # and that was also on 4/21/10. When we put in a note on our website it will send the account holder an email. It sound like you did not get our emails for some reason. Sidenote it was 2 weeks not 4 weeks but in any case I’m sorry for the delay and thanks for the order.

I ordered my 3 inch shade and ARD straight from PR, got them in about 3 days.

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

8.2.10 Update: Our current ETA is 4-6 weeks on the Premier 5-25's. Obviously, there's is no arrival date set in stone, but whenever they become available to other dealers, we will have them at the same time too!

    Thanks,

    Mike @ CST

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

It might be a bit of a random question but what is the barrel contour on the rifle in the video? Just curious because I am looking into one of the premiers and clearance is good on your rifle.

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

It looks like we will have one or two Premier Heritage 3-15x50mm Tactical Illum Gen 2 XR, 0.1mrad 27mil-DT-MTC left.

    Mike @ CST

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

Well, I haven't heard from a couple of you guys who have Premier 5-25 orders with us, so if you do and you still want it, call us.

As for right now, we are going to release some of the 5-25's, so if you want one, we have them available!

    Thanks,

    Mike @ CST

excellent choice in vendors to those who bought. Mike is the best in the business.

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

The parallax knob on your last video seemed like it took a bit of effort to turn. Was I seeing that wrong? How does the feel of it compare to a S&B?

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

You've got me strongly considering one of these. Are there any reticle options besides the Gen II mildot and Gen II XR currently?

    Re: Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm

I'm told we will be able to get the Horus Reticles but I recommend getting the GEN II XR. I really like the GENII XR I have three scopes with it.
