Rifle Scopes Premier Light Tactical 3-15x50

https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1...irst-focal-illuminated-gen-2-xr-reticle-matte

Great glass, bulletproof scopes.
TT essentially "bought" premier and did a slight redesign.

I have a Premier 5-25 and a TT 5-25.
Side by side, they are damn near identical scopes. It appears that TT just did a slight redesign and changed a few things and upgraded the glass or coatings (you would never be able to tell the difference unless you look through them side by side)

Depending on the Serial Number, TT may honor the lifetime warranty with a credit toward a Tangent should something happen (nothing like a Vortex warranty though)

I wouldnt hesitate to buy one at all though. You will be extremely happy with it.

what is the reticle in this 3-15x?

I don't think the Gen2XR is great choice in 3-15x (its perfect in the 5-25x however). Very difficult to use it at <10x. Not sure I would recommend a 3-15x with the Gen2XR without the buyer having experience with the reticle and being good with the limitation I mentioned.

Optically, they are amazing. Turrets on the Light Tactical are poor relative in to the full Tactical, IMO. I vastly prefer the Tactical as result. Again, IMO.

It has the XR MOA reticle.

Just because the turrets are MOA doesn't mean the reticle is MOA on these. Bad juju if you get a mixed reticle and turret, just something to keep in mind. I sold my Premier LT 3-15 illuminated Gen II XR a couple years ago for about $1700 if I remember. This one I'd value less because of the MOA turrets. Maybe $1300 or so. That being said, you will not find a 3-15 scope with better glass, in fact, you'd be hard pressed to find any scope with better glass.

Yep i emailed them and they said “

This optic was sold though our distribution network and is therefore serviceable under our warranty program.

In the case where this optic is not repairable, a credit will be offered towards he purchase price of a Tangent Theta optic. (For this model the credit would be aprox $1600 and is only applicable towards a trade in towards the purchase of a Tangent Theta). Current retail on a Tangent Theta is about $4200.

I think that is the retail for the TT315P and not the TT315M - the Premier LT translates to the TT315M scope just FYI

I bought two LT 3-15 gen2 Mildots new from europtic back in the day when they offered a SH member special buy. I wanted a Heritage Tactical but couldn’t justify the $2700 price tag per scope.
I have absolutely loved it and would not hestitate to buy another. Glass is just as good as anything else available, including the hennie and s&b pm2, which I also have. Imo the gen2 dot is perfect for the 3-15, and you won’t find a better scope at any price range with a 30mm tube. Absolute best light tactical/tactical hunter scope available bar none. If you find one with the gen2 MD 1/10th turrets, buy it. You will not regret it.
I had one of mine mounted on an ai aw since new and it’s served me well. So well in fact, I do not plan on selling it, ever.
I just picked up a 5-25 premier from the px here and I’m very much looking forward to having it next to its lil bro. What can I say, I’m just a premier guy. I like other high end scopes, but the premier scopes I absolutely love. I even have a few older leupold mk4’s premier boosted and did a reticle swap on. They live on benchrest guns now and they are still going strong after 15+ years.

I took an LT to Africa on a 300WM mil-spec several years ago, loved it. It is a great scope, tracked true, great glass, but doesn't have a great elevation adjustment range - if I recall correctly.

If you can stand to fork over the rest of the purchase price for a TT if/when this one fails, I'd buy it (for less than $1600, obviously.)

For approaching (and definitely above $1600), no chance.

I had the Heritage and the LT, both in 3-15 and they were among my favorites; but I break shit, and when the warranty went away, so too did the scopes.

As another data point, I have a TT3-15M now and as much as I loved the Heritage, this is better. Awesome glass, no issues with parallax lockup.

I have no issues with the Gen 2XR on 3x to 10x. Subtensions really don't come into play until 5X, but who needs subtensions on 3x @ 200 yards? The heavy outer stadia work to draw your eyes right in to center on 3x.

I have a Premier Heritage Light Tactical 3-15x50 and two Tangent Theta TT315M 3-15x50, all with Gen 2XR and love them. I think they are a perfect hunting scope for out to any hunting range. I shoot mine to 1500+ all the time.

For $1500, I would pick up another one in a heartbeat.

I have all top tier glass, and these fit right in with those and don't lose anything to them other than warranty. Two Premier (3-15, 5-25), three S&B (5-25, 3-20, 3-20US), two TT (3-15), and a March (3-24).
