Join contestGot a new pressure washer, 1600psi, can i use this to run water through my Rifle can to knock out some carbon from the 22lr I sometimes shoot?
Or shoot a magazine of 5.56 through it. Between the heat and the pressure that should help keep it clean.
Did you just tell dude to run 5.56 through a .22lr can?Or shoot a magazine of 5.56 through it. Between the heat and the pressure that should help keep it clean.

is your pressure washer threaded 1/2-28?![]()
I sure hope your can isn't seeing 15k psi. Unless its a SBR, you are looking at around 8k psi for a 16" 5.56 and 308. Still 1600psi of water, shouldn't do much. Neighbors might look at you funny for shooting a suppressed pressure washer in your driveway, but that depends on your neighborhood lol.Pressure washer works quite well especially when used in conjunction with one of the chemical soak methods .
The muzzle pressure on a centerfire rifle is going to be typically in the 10 - 15K psi range depending on caliber and barrel length , 1800 psi pressure washer is well below that.
