Price for this Remington 40-XB? (.308 Win)

Hello, I was curious how much this rifle would go for.
I plan on selling it as is WITHOUT the floorplate. (don't have it)
It is a Remington 40-XB Tactical Chambered in 308 Winchester.
Top of the barrel is marked "Remington Custom Shop Ilion, NY"
27 1/4" Fluted barrel. HS Precision stock.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you

Pretty nice 40X - HS Precision stock, nicely adjustable 40X trigger, nice caliber, Badger bolt knob ( but no bottom metal ). Around my parts - it'd go for between $1000- and $1200ish.

Yeah I honestly have no clue what I did with it, I've searched my entire house and no luck and don't really want to get another one since I will probably never shoot it so hopefully someone else can enjoy it.
That's exactly the price I was thinking of letting it go too.

As long as you're not trying to circumvent the rules here on selling: A bit of history on the gun would help with the price. It looks like it was fairly well taken care of, but many prospective buyers like to know round count, and what it was used for.

Is it unfired? Might bring a bit more.
