I apologize in advance if i posted this in the wrong section...

I am wondering if there is a good online source for used gun values. I have a couple handguns and a shotgun i need to determine the value of.

So far the best i have come up with is to search for similar models listed for sale at various websites, but I don't know if the listings show true "comparable's" or if the pricing is "right" on those i find.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Pricing on used guns...

Look them up on gunbroker.com, auctionarms.com, etc.
What you find them selling for (actual sales) there are realistic market values.

Book value is useless until you find someone willing to pay it.

Yep, looking at the completed auctions is your best bet, the more the better. You'll see some that are anomalies if a couple of guys get into a bidding war, but overall it's a pretty accurate way to find market value. Don't pay attention to asking prices, you'll find some guys that think their Lorcin is worth $812.
