Looking for advice on which primers work the best. Loading for 243-260-7mmwsm-308 and 6.5 x 47. Currently I have some wim lr and rem 7.5br on hand.

Re: Primers

What you have should work fine but to know what will work the best you'll have to try some others and see. The particular cartridge and powder you're using both factor in to the best primer to use. A lot of the time, the particular primer doesn't make much difference.

If it helps, I use WLR in my 243 and Federal 210M primers in my 308 and most of the other stuff I load for that take large rifle primers. Another good primer, especially if you're loading ball powder are the CCI 250 large rifle magnum primers even for cartridge not ordinarily though to need magnum primers.
