I'm not sure if this is the right spot to ask so if it needs to be moved I understand. I have tried searching to see if anyone else has had this problem but nothing turned up either.

I recently got a manners T4 with a mini chasses to put my Rem 700 AAC-SD 308 into. The 700 also has a timney 510 set for 3lbs from the factory.

The issue I am running into is that when I install the action into chassis and torque the bolts down (65 in-lbs in the front and 45 in the back) and then install the bolt the firing pin goes forward without me pulling the trigger. When I pull the bolt back it appears the gun is ready to fire but as I slide it forward the pin just moves forward again.

When I take the action out of the manners and put it back in the old hogue stock everything works as it should, so my only guess is that there must be some issue with the stock.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Damn that may actually be the issue. I see where the left side seems to rest against the trigger. Should I just touch it lightly with a dremmel to correct it?

I had the same issue once before too..I used a dremmel and was able to create the clearance needed.
Same issue here too. Unless you tell manners to inlet the mini-chassis for a Timney, the trigger area will compress the trigger body and prevent the stop bolt from working correctly. Get a carbide bit for a dremel and mill out the section where it is contacting (it is on the forward end, by the nut). Another option is that you can send it to Manners, and they will correct it for you free of charge.
