Is it states. I would like some of your input on whether I stick with the 155gr A Max in my 16" 1:10" tw DPMS, or should I go heavier?
    My current load:
WW brass FLS with Fed 210 primers
    44.1gr H4895
    155 A Max seated @ 2.8"
    Velocity is only 2595 fps.
Accuracy is sub moa, & the weapon will only be used for med-long range, as I have my 300WM for the long shots.
Given the low velocity with the short brl would I really benefit from a heavier bullet going slower? I'm also wondering if you think I'm leaving some velocity on the table with the 1:10" tw with the light bullet, & I may actually get a better than expected velocity with say a 178gr A Max?
    Thanks.

Similar question here. 16" OBR 7.62.

I've had great results with 175 SMKs, excellent groups and they hold elevation very well. Getting ~2500fps. I'm trying Berger 155 Hybrids now to get a better BC and more velocity. The only challenge is getting them to shoot well. My groups have been less than ideal at 100y with the hybrids. I'm seating them to 2.800" COAL, and I suspect they would shoot better if they were seated longer...

    I have a friend with a 18" OBR that loves 155 Scenars.
