I am mounting a Mk 4 spotting scope “inverted” within a Kinetic Optics Hub mount… and wanted to know if anyone has used a RRS tripod while shooting prone? The tripod will open “flat” but that would place the ocular lens too close to the ground… Locking out at the first detent offers theavailable height but I wasn’t sure on the interference with the legs… Has anybody used a RRS tripod to support a prone position spotting scope (pictures)? Thanks for the insights!
