Proof MTR scope/ring height?

Hello all,

Proof MTR 223, 20 inch currently inbound. I currently have an unassigned G3 636 available. Aside from it being a heavy scope, the 56mm objective could pose a height issue. Which scope / rings height combination works for you?

Even on scopes with 56mm bells, the problem I keep having is that the bell clears but I can slam the scope low enough that I can't fit a throw lever between the rail and magnification ring. Low rings are on almost everything I own...
