Proof Pre-fit AI AXMC Barrels & Muzzle Thread Caps

Just wondering if anybody might know where I can pick up a muzzle thread cap for a 24inch proof AI AXMC barrel threaded 5/8-24?

If not, what details would I need to provide to a gunsmith so he could make one?

So you just need a thread protector?

or wanting a cap ?

if Your gunsmith can’t figure this out you might want to look for another smith...

thread protectors are all over, from eBay to amazon or one of the many Hide vendors

cap, i’d Probably have my smith make one

I have 3 of these. Looks good on anything from 24-26” M24/Heavy Palma

It's a muzzle thread cap.

My trusted smith is a 3 hr drive away in Canberra which is a bit of a pain.

Did anyone else using the 6.5 cm proof AI AXMC barrels buy anything already made?

So you are looking for a cap, to seal up the hole correct ?

so both ends have caps, for debris, moisture or whatever?

Not many places sell caps, mostly thread protectors. But maybe someone that makes 3D printed caps can make a cap for you

Not to seal the hole, but protect the muzzle threading when not shooting with a break (which is most at the range).
