Not for an AR this is for a Bolt Action receiver such as a Remington 700 for example. Proof Research will put “Bolt” in the description meaning it’s a blank for a Bolt action rifle and has to be chambered/fitted to your rifle by a gunsmith. The following description is from the Proof Research website.

What is the actual OAL of the barrel, will it finish up for a 24" OAL barrel after being fitted ?
If you look at the Proof Research website for this barrel and click on “Diagram” it shows the overall barrel is 26” with a finished barrel length of 24”. There’s an extra 2” on the barrel but it’s intended for a gunsmith to either cut it off flush or cut & thread to your preference. See pic of the actual barrel and pic of the diagram of the barrel from the Proof Research website. The muzzle diameter on this barrel measures .929” which means it’s a 24”. Thanks!
