Well the carbon DT blank alone from Proof Research is $1100, which is more than most carbon prefit barrels directly from Proof Research. Proof doesn't chamber, cerakote, or do anything to the barrels other than provide the barrel blank. Also, DT SRS barrels require a $285 barrel extension. Take the $1100 for the barrel, $285 for the extension, and it leaves $565 to cover gunsmithing, cerakote, shipping between Proof, my shop, and the gunsmith.
