Gents, im thinking on trying out a mono pod on a 223gas I use in carbine sniper comp. I can't use a bipod in most of the events I run so I was thinking on beefing up my rear bag, dropping it up front and then having a mono take its place. Has anyone had negative experience with them? How user friendly are they on the honeymoon period?

So you're going to have lots of sex with it?

That is funny!!!

The getting use to it depends on your experience and the pod. They all come down to how fast they adjust height per turn. Some like quick adjust and some like standard. People taking long shots from the bench generally can use eather one. Out in the field I perefer quick adjust.
