Actually, I do get your concern and I would have the same worry.
You would figure that with them knowing that kit is going on a very exposed part of a heavy rig, they would be pretty tough!
I would think it would be easy to do?
with all the trakta fixin practice, Deersniper could surely come up with something?
I think shaping aluminum for that might be a pain, gonna be cheaper/easier to make out of 3 peices and weld em. Lotta waste machining those from a solid block of AL
Or go for broke and machine them from magnesium block for the lightness (because 3 oz matters on a 17 lb rifle.....)
