Sidearms & Scatterguns PRP Ultimate Match Target Trigger Kit DIY?

I am really interested in putting one of these in my XDm but I am hesitant about doing it myslef. I would like to hear from some guys who have done it without the help of a smith. It is really the sanding and filing of components that scares me. Is it easy to do? Has anyone messed it up so bad they had to take it to the smith to get fixed? I am pretty handy but very cautious. Any input is appreciated.

There are videos on youtube that go through the process in detail. Just follow the instructions and be prepared to take the gun apart and put it back together...alot.

Also, when you think you are done. Freeze the gun for a few hours in your freezer and try it again. I after I froze mine, it wouldn't work till I filed off some more of the trigger. Easy to do, but I wouldn't have thought of it unless someone else posted about it here!

Of note, if you are shooting USPSA, the kit will put you in Limited. You can replace EVERYTHING that kit replaces EXCEPT the actual trigger and still shoot Production. PRP even makes a little piece that you add onto the pistol to control overstop with a stock trigger. I'm kinda kicking myself right now because I didn't realize that before.
