PRS shooting has been one of the fastest-growing gun games in recent years. My background is in USPSA, Steel and Multi-Gun competition, but a little over a year ago I decided to try PRS.

Yeah, and don't be gaming it with a 6.5 Creedmoor or a Tripod, even though the Military uses the equipment, it's frowned upon in PMS to use anything that helps provide a stable shooting position.

Special Operations Command wants a new sniper rifle with a new round for long-range shots

If all goes well with the Army's 6.8 mm Next Generation Squad Weapon, SOCOM will adopt it and the new sniper rifle.

I don't know what ya'll do/did at drill weekends, but the hardest thing I ever did was drink cold coffee and sit through resiliency training!

I was Navy, we had to work the Reserve Weekend when our Reservists where in. They pretty much watched training videos and went to dental.

I was wondering how Practical it was to shoot using a tank trap as a rest, until your article made me realize the P stands for Precision.

Def agree with the mindset of just get out there and shoot, enjoy it and have fun. Its a game.
