Going to buy a custom rig for PRS. I have been looking at either getting a complete MPA build with Matrix Chassis and Impact action or buying an Blue Mountain precision barreled action with an Impact action and a Hawk hill barrel then putting it in an MPA Matrix chassis. I'm new to the game so I was wondering if there was an advantage to either one? The MPA build would have their MPA/ Spencer barrel and the BMP would have the Hawk Hill barrel. Thanks in advance!

You are new to the game, so the odds are VERY high that the amount you suck will absolutely obscure any minor difference between the builds.

Seriously, pick the one that you think you like best. Or, flip a coin. By the end of your first season you might have a clue what you like and want. You certainly won't have lost a single point because you chose the wrong barrel.

Good choices by the way.

I say that from a place of love, and experience cycling through all sorts of rifles that never sucked as bad as me... and I started with a Savage.

Thanks man. That’s really true advice.
