I just pulled three bullets from PS 79 M2 ammo.
151 grain bullet - 59 grains of powder.
It is a ball powder.
Does anyone know what powder they used?

I don't.

But I know its not corrosive primed if that is one of your concerns. KA (Korrosive Ammo) is the Korean ammo you want to clean with water afterwards. PS (Pretty Safe) is non corrosive.

....but PS is "Pretty Safe" because a few lots had some issues with case head separations. An internet search will provide known questionable lot numbers/year of manufacture. I recall the problems were in the early 70's.

Ive shot both and found them to be reasonably accurate and the brass is good for reloading.
