Looking to own my second AR15. Which is the better AR15, Springfield Armory Saint Victor CA compliant model or PSA 18" FN CHF with Geissele MK14 handguard + PSA lower and parts kit and Magpul MOE butt stock. I believe they both have a pinned gas block which is reassuring. The Geissele enjoys a great rep for their product and some people say their barrel nut and handguard are among the best. There are many satisfied Springfield customers also. The cost is about the same for both, however. I would have to put a few parts together with the PSA. Although I am now 80, I did assemble an AR15 lower 2 years ago. I just takes me a lot longer to do things now. So, any comments would be welcomed.

I would lean towards the PSA out of those two, better barrel and the handguard would be a nice upgrade. Good luck with the choice and enjoy.
Is the FN barrel the rifle length gas system ? If so... it will be a soft shooter. And be prepared to break it in with 5.56 ammo.... it shoots that soft.
FWIW, all my FN CHF barrels have been great shooters. Make sure you clean the bore and chamber of any packing oil.

My first AR was from PSA, and it ran just as reliably as any other AR I've used. The FN CHF barrels have a fantastic reputation (for good reason), so that's what I'd recommend. I'm sure the Saint is fine, but the PSA's Geissele rail sweetens the deal.
I run a FN CHF/CL 1:8 .223 wylde 18" rifle gas barrel in my Mk12 setup and it is a laser with ball ammo...so much so I quit using match ammo...
