I've got a PSA gf5 Ak that I'd like to get a buffer tube adapter on. I've seen some stuff about the puzzle piece rear that PSA uses and that it is proprietary, but I've seen a couple adapters that say they work, too. I'd just buy the PSA branded adapter, but it is perpetually out if stock.
So what's right? Will the PSA take any buffer tube adapter? Can I use any adapter for a stamped AK and just know that the puzzle piece modularity they're so proud of won't work? Once I get a buffer on, that's all the modularity I need.
I don't know enough about AKs to look at it and see if things will work like I can with an AR.
