We would like to announce a two day basic pistol and carbine combat marksmanship course.
Who: PTS
What: Two day Pistol and Carbine Course
When: 1-2 June 2013
Where: Fort Gordon GA Range 14
Why: To enhance shooter safety, skills and confidence with sporting fire arms
The course will be instructive, fun and dynamic broken down into two one day blocks. Day one will focus on pistol and day two will focus on modern sporting rifle. Customers will be able to elect to take both days of instruction or choose from either of the courses offered.
Course overview:
The primary objective of PTS course is to expand the shooters knowledge base, safe handling, enhanced effectiveness and confidence with fire arms. We achieve this through step by step hands on instruction, dry fire drills to re-enforce the blocks of instruction followed by live fire drills with shooter instructor feedback. Our courses are broken down into instructional blocks that build the necessary skills to allow the shooter to reach their desired end state.
Our Basic courses are perfect for folks that are new to shooting sports or folks that have some experience and want to achieve a higher level of training. We ensure that our customers leave our courses with practice and training techniques that will re-enforce the blocks of instruction.
The course curriculum may look intimidating for new shooters, but rest assured that we will work together to run a fun, safe yet challenging course of fire. Shooters can move through the blocks of instruction at their pace. This will be a low stress class
Cost:
1 day $150.00
Both days $250.00

Hey Shooters,
I've gotten a few texts. The round count in the class discription is the absolute MAX that we could shoot. I'm guessing that we will be on the low side of 500 each system for most folks and you will be able to shoot as much or as little as you like. The class and drills will be structured, but we can flex on round count.

Could have saved a buncha TXT if i had read this!!!

I'll be there.

Shooters,
I know ammo is in really short supply right now. The is a guy in VA that has a bunch and usually sells to three letter agencies but can sell to private individuals Jason's Ammo.

Send me an E-mail at PTS or PM here on the hide if you are interested in the class we need 10 signed up in order to run the class.

Rich,
How would you feel about doing the class in Cookeville? I have lodging set up for you at Mike's place. Dave doesn't work at Fort Gordon anymore so I am not comfortable with doing the class there. In Cookeville we would have more freedom of movement to do more drills and no set range hours. It would be a better class all around.

Was a GREAT class. I will be at more of them for sho! Any of you knuckle draggers interested in training Gotta check out PTS!

Yeah awsome class. It realy got me more proficient with pistol and with the draw even with a safariland holster! I recomend it to anyone wanting to take a class.
