Night Vision Pulsar clip on?

How well does the pulsar thermal clip on work compared to a full on thermal scope? Also what can I get a used clip on pulsar for? Thanks

There's a thread around here where clip-on' are talked about more.
I have only tried atn and armasight but the mount for pulsar kills it for me.
