I finally decided on what can I would buy and not quite sure if I made the right decision. I was going back and forth over many models, my list evolved numerous times but finally after much reading had it down to either the 30P-1, Arbiter and the 300TM. I decided to go with the AAC can since my dealer stocks only the AAC cans of the three. The other two I would have to pay a dealer fee of $100. Price with dealer fee was less than $50 in any direction. Maybe I'm just over thinking it but I can't help wonder if I should have gone with any of the other two as my criteria was accuracy first, sound/recoil suppression next and weight is a moot point as all three are close.

I paid for the can this last week so nothing has gone through since we are waiting for the 300 to arrive from the distributor and I have not filled out/mailed the form 4 yet.

Would either of the other two be a better choice or am I just over thinking this?

I was torn between the 300TM and 30p-1 as well. I ended up going with the TM. I have read one report of a guy who had a ridiculous amount of POI shift, but there aren't many out there yet. Mine is a double digit SN and I filed the Form4 in May so I should be able to give more info in a few months....course that doesn't help you now.

I think I'm just over reacting and over thinking this whole thing and just go with it. I think some of it stems from the NFA being for life thing and just don't want to screw myself over when in reality I doubt I'll get any different groups and consistency from any of the three listed.

Samson7x, the report you probably read was over on the silencertalk forums where one guy had 16moa shift but I believe it was repeatable. One other mentioned he had improved accuracy with the TM.

I just need to relax and not worry so much about this.

I'd bet my savings account that the shift that guy was seeing was a result of the threads on his barrel not being concentric to the bore.....not a result of the can itself. That's a pretty common issue with thread on cans if you don't have your barrel threaded to the MFGers thread specification, but rather just thread it on and go.

Aside from that, I think you made a very good choice. The other two cans are great too, but the 300TM is extremely accurate, very light weight, and build quality is one of the best you can get. I'd feel plenty good about that purchase.
